A scholarship established by the University of Tulsa in 2021 to support Afghan students who fled to the United States as refugees, covering the full cost of a bachelor's degree.

About this scholarship

The University of Tulsa announced it would offer two scholarships to Afghans seeking refuge in the United States after their government fell to the Taliban, with TU's president stating the university was "opening our doors to provide a safe place to learn and grow" at a time when these students needed it most. The initiative was intended to expand TU's global connections, promote free inquiry, and advance humanitarian efforts by assisting Afghan students during this historic and difficult period.
