SQE Future Lawyer Scholarship

The SQE Future Lawyer Scholarship is available to applicants enrolling on eligible SQE preparation programmes at BPP University, including the LLM SQE 1&2 and related SQE courses. It supports aspiring solicitors undertaking SQE preparation at BPP, recognising academic achievement, career potential, and commitment to the legal profession while helping students progress towards qualification. It is part of BPP's wider £1m+ postgraduate law scholarship fund, which is designed to widen access to the legal profession, with a significant portion of funds directed toward students from traditionally under-represented backgrounds.

Fee waiver/discount applied toward tuition fees on an eligible SQE preparation course (exact value not fixed — BPP's broader scholarship range spans awards up to £3,000, half fees, or full fees, depending on the specific award tier)

Applicable across eligible SQE programmes, including the LLM SQE1&2, SQE1&2 Diploma, and LLM Law Conversion with SQE1

Must have applied for an eligible SQE preparation programme at BPP University

Must apply for the scholarship by the relevant deadline

Must have achieved a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent, or a 2:2 with accepted mitigating circumstances

Must not hold full sponsorship for tuition fees from another organisation

Must be a new student enrolling on the course

Must demonstrate academic achievement, career progression, and the potential to succeed as a future solicitor

Recipients of master's funding (e.g., UK Student Finance England postgraduate loans) remain eligible to apply
