About this scholarship
One or more Robert W. Ford Graduate Scholarships are awarded to outstanding graduate students entering or continuing in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Approval of recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Graduate Awards Committee. As with most UVic internal graduate awards, students don't submit an application — eligible students are put forward by their academic unit.
What the award includes
- Amount: Varies (not fixed — set annually depending on available funds and the Awards Committee's decision)
- Can apply to students either entering a graduate program or already continuing in one
Who can apply
Must be an outstanding graduate student entering or continuing in the Faculty of Graduate Studies
Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average, plus any additional donor-established criteria
Unless otherwise noted, must be a full-time graduate student
Must be unconditionally admitted to a master's or doctoral degree program and registered in enough units in the graduate program
