An automatic, merit-based entrance scholarship for outstanding incoming first-year undergraduate students at Queen's University, funded by a bequest from the Estate of June Brayshaw.
About this scholarship
Established in May 2020 by the Estate of June Brayshaw, this scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering first year of any first-entry undergraduate degree program at Queen's University. It is one of Queen's "Named Awards," meaning eligible students are automatically considered for it rather than applying separately — a qualifying automatic award may be replaced by this named award of equal or higher value.
What the award includes
Entrance scholarship funding for first-year study (exact annual value not published by Queen's; some scholarship aggregators list a total value around CAD $25,000, but this should be verified directly with Queen's, as amounts can vary year to year)
No separate application needed — awarded automatically alongside admission
