About this scholarship
Established in memory of Ronald J. Quinn (O.A.C. '35), this scholarship is awarded to one international, fee-paying student entering any degree program offered by the Ontario Agricultural College. It is one of Guelph's automatic international entrance scholarships — no separate scholarship application is needed, as selection happens through the standard admission application review.
What the award includes
One award valued at $2,000 CAD
Awarded in the fall; the recipient must be registered to receive the funds
Who can apply
Must be an international student paying the University of Guelph's international student tuition and fee rates (i.e., not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident)
Entering any degree program offered by the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC)
Preference is given in this order:
- Students with citizenship from a country/territory eligible for Official Development Assistance (ODA) as defined by the OECD's Development Assistance Committee, among those categorized as the world's least-developed countries
- Students from low-income countries (as defined by OECD)
- Any other international student
