The Dean's Scholarship is awarded to students based on their academic achievements and funds a prescribed amount of tuition and fees. NJIT notes that, in the future, this scholarship may be replaced with funds of equal value from an NJIT scholarship donor, or reduced if combined with other sources of aid.

Who can apply
Must be admitted to NJIT as an undergraduate student (academic achievement is assessed as part of the standard admissions review — no separate minimum GPA/test score is published for initial awarding, since it's merit-based on the admission file)
To maintain (renew) the scholarship, students must:
- Maintain continuous full-time enrollment
- Earn a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Adhere to the University Code on Academic Integrity
Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually
