One or more scholarships are awarded to outstanding students at the University of Victoria, with final approval of recipients made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Graduate Awards Committee. There is no application process — instead, eligible academic units (departments/programs) nominate qualifying students for consideration.

Comparable UVic graduate donor awards are typically disbursed once the recipient is registered in their program
Who can apply
Must be a full-time graduate student (unless the specific award description states otherwise)
Unconditionally admitted to and registered in a master's or doctoral degree program
Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average, plus any additional criteria established by the donor
Selected via nomination from an eligible academic unit — students cannot apply directly
To retain funding, students must maintain a minimum level of academic standing per UVic's ongoing graduate funding requirements
