About this scholarship
One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding graduate students at the University of Victoria. Approval of the recipient(s) is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Graduate Awards Committee. It is open to graduate students across any discipline, with past recipients coming from fields as varied as Electrical Engineering. There is no student-facing application — eligible academic units nominate qualifying students.

Open to multiple scholarships awarded per cycle, across any discipline
Available to students of any of over 220 listed nationalities (i.e., open to both domestic and international graduate students)
Who can apply
Must be unconditionally admitted to a master's or doctoral degree program and registered in enough units in the graduate program
Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average, plus any additional donor-established criteria
Selected via nomination from an eligible academic unit — students cannot apply directly
Unless otherwise noted, must be a full-time graduate student
Open to any field of graduate study
Bachelor's-level study experience required as a prerequisite (i.e., you must already hold or be completing a bachelor's degree to enter grad studies)
