An annual scholarship program from MSU's Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship, offering over 250 scholarships totaling more than $500,000+ (with over $250,000 historically allocated to current/continuing students), open to currently enrolled Jabs undergraduate business students.
About this scholarship
Jabs Student Scholarships support students at different points in their academic careers or in different fields of study — for example, an incoming first-year student versus a junior in a particular business option. Because of this, the college encourages all students to apply for scholarships each year. Many of the scholarships awarded by Jabs are need-based, so eligibility for those specific awards is determined by the MSU Office of Financial Aid based on a completed FAFSA.
What the award includes
Access to a large pool of scholarships — historically, Jabs has awarded over $250,000 (and in some years $500,000+) across its scholarship programs
Multiple scholarships available depending on class year, major/option, and financial need
Some named/endowed scholarships (e.g., Bozeman Health Foundation Gordon Davidson Scholarship) offer up to $4,000 for eligible sophomore/junior/senior business students
One application allows consideration for multiple scholarship opportunities within the college
Who can apply
Must be a current/continuing student enrolled in an undergraduate program within the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at MSU
For need-based scholarships: must complete the FAFSA — need-based scholarships will not be awarded without a completed FAFSA on file
Additional eligibility criteria vary by specific named scholarship (e.g., minimum GPA, class standing, major/option, Montana residency) — these are detailed within each individual scholarship listing inside the Cat$cholarships portal
