Chevening Scholarships

The University of Bedfordshire is a Chevening partner institution. Chevening itself is the UK government's global scholarship scheme, supporting outstanding future leaders from around the world to complete a fully funded one-year Master's in the UK. Alongside the main Chevening award, Bedfordshire offers three additional Chevening Partnership Scholarships, open to applicants from all Chevening-eligible countries. These partnership awards cover full tuition fees (funded by the university itself) and come with the same generous stipend and allowances as a standard Chevening award. There is no separate application process for the partnership scholarship — it's assessed as part of the standard Chevening application when Bedfordshire is selected as a course choice.

No deposit required on the university offer letter for Chevening applicants

Must be a citizen of a country or territory eligible for Chevening at the time of application

Must hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to at least a UK 2:2 honours degree

Must have a minimum of two years' work experience (full-time, part-time, voluntary, or paid — skills and experience matter more than the specific role type)

Must be able to demonstrate English language ability meeting both Chevening's and the University of Bedfordshire's requirements

Must commit to returning to their home country for a minimum of two years after completing the degree

For the partnership scholarship specifically, applicants must select the University of Bedfordshire as one of their course choices on the Chevening application
