A high-value graduate scholarship for veterinarians entering the Doctor of Veterinary Science (DVSc) program at the University of Guelph's Ontario Veterinary College, with preference given to students specializing in oncology, established in memory of Art Rouse's lifelong dedication to companion animal welfare.
About this scholarship
This scholarship was established in recognition of Mr. Rouse's lifelong commitment to companion animal welfare and his love for dogs and rescued animals. It supports veterinarians entering a full-time DVSc program offered by the Department of Clinical Studies at OVC, with preference given to students in oncology. If no oncology student qualifies in a given cycle, preference shifts to a DVSc student pursuing companion animal research more broadly.
