A prestigious, competitive scholarship from the University of Guelph's Arrell Food Institute supporting outstanding graduate students (Master's and PhD) whose research aligns with building a healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable global food system.
About this scholarship
Arrell Scholarships are awarded to emerging leaders in the agri-food sector who are academically excellent and dedicated to ensuring a sustainable, productive, and equitable food system. Beyond funding, Arrell scholars have the opportunity to engage in AFI's educational programming, access a wider network of connections, and collaborate with industry partners. As a complement to their graduate research, scholars provide leadership within multidisciplinary teams of graduate students who work with community, government, and industry partners to address global food challenges. Successful applicants must be entering under the supervision or co-supervision of one of the Arrell Food Institute Chairs. Recipients are known as "Arrell Scholars."
